How to calculate the hysteretic damping and how to put it in optistruct?

    Hi @Ariane Rebelato

     

    You can specify structural damping using Control cards>> PARAM>>G

     

    G is the Structural damping coefficient. Here G= 2* C/C0 (2 times the critical damping ratio)
