Hello,
how can i create a Surface mesh only with the data of the fe- mesh
In my case the fe mesh is the result of a Topology Optimation which i have reimported into hypermesh without smoothing.
I would like to 3D print the result of the unsmoothed Topology Optimation result and therefore i need a stl Surface mesh.
Is this possible? Thank you very much

Hi Andreas,
Does this optimized model have solid elements?
I which case, you can extract faces (Tools>>Faces) and export to .stl format (you can also remesh the face elements to a finer mesh using auto mesh panel)
