TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION

Hello,

I am a new user of hyperworks and topology optimization. I am currently working on setting up a proper topology optimization setup and i have read about topology optimization from a decent amount of research papers but nowhere i could find the use of discrete DVs as you do in your software. So i am wondering where i could find a comparison between using continuous DVs through all the phases and using discrete DVs in my iteration phases on the basis of performance and results?
