Alternative constraints for stress limited topolopy problems

As per user guide of OPTISTRUCT and many discussions, we cant get accurate results in topology optimization with stress as a design constraint. So, what is the most suitable alternative way to tackle these kind of topology optimization problems which have material yield strength as constraint?
