Combine DSIZE wih DTPL
Altair EmployeeHello Superusers,
I need to study the effect of combining DSIZE with DTPL for PSHELL (even though it is not recommended in the documentation).
When done, ERROR # 5720 (attached) is output. I'd like to know if there's any workaround to achieve this? Any PARAM, DEBUG cards to prevent this ERROR or any subtle process of doing so? Dequation perhaps?? I'm newbie to MDO problems, exploring stuff...

It is not possible to combine freesize and topology and I don't see an option to bypass the error.

It is possible to combine both Topology and Size optimizations in the same run. You have to specify both in the same deck but freezie and topology are not possible I believe.
Also, topology and Size with discrete DVs is also no possible.
