Problem in fx curve

Hello Sir

This is the curve that i got. The peak value at the first is nearly only 3500 but through the experimental results i had got it nearly 32000 also the wall does move only 25 mm though the curve defined had value 130. please help me ....

Hi,

Ensure the model setup (loads and bcs) is as same as for the experimental case. And also check the material parameters.

Hello Sir,

I have checked it its same. in previous model i had got nearly same results but this time first peak value is very low. I don't understand whats wrong with it.

Please try with the attached file.

I made some slight changes. Also, for the elastic material (wall) the unit consistency followed was wrong and I modified the same. Review those, make the necessary changes and try running the file.

Still I can't got the curve. There is no peak at the starting, still it shows very less value. what's wrong with this model?

Hi,

As the impactor moves/crushes further the reaction force on the rigid body increases. For the inputs provided (material, property, load, geometry, bcs, loads,,,etc) this seems to be a correct function.

It increases as the impactor moves further but at the time of the impact means at the starting when it is in contact for first time due to sudden impact it experiences a large force that is it has to show the peak at the starting.but in model I am not able to get it. Is anything else that has to be done with it?
