Meshing

Hello Everyone

 

I just had a simple question regarding meshing. In the attached screenshot, you can see I have meshed the top part of the cylinder. But I am not sure how to mesh that weird part (marked in yellow). I read online, it says it has something to do with linear solid mesh. But not sure how to implement it. I have attached the file as well.

You have to split the initial solid into several simple solid by taking advantage of symmetry.

I have a similar issue. I would like to split a solid to mesh the different sections separately.

Can you please tell me where to go in order to split the solid? I can not find it.

Please use solid edit in Geom page for editing solid geometry
