Mesh Problems

Hi,

I am trying to mesh a curved surface (Shell) but every time when I do that the edge of the surface won't be able to be meshe. The mesh stops before the edge. (see photo)

How can I correct that? It is really urgent.

Hi Sirine,

The surface may be sharing an edge with the curved surface. Can you select the curved surface separately and mesh.

thank you for the answer. It can be selected but not meshed till the edge wether the edge is shared or not (dark green curved surface)

I think the edge is not properly captured.

Can you please share the model file so that we will get an idea on the model.

Hi,

unfortunately I can't do that because of secrecy issues.

But the curved surface is a Skin vehicle which I created with ruled surface (node path from girder elems which are curved) then I did an Offset and shrink of the surface. I hope the way I created it could help.

Hi Sirine,

This could be a graphics issue. Only if we can see the full model we can comment more.

If you still feel it's not a graphical issue and the edge is not captured, you can project the nodes to the line.
