Element Birth and Death

Hi,

I am performing a Non Linear Transient Thermo- Mechanical Analysis.,

As part of that i would like to represent Element Birth & Death in Radioss/ Optistruct

Is it possible to represent in Radioss?

If so, tell me how?

It is possible by using /ACTIV card. It describes the deactivation/activation of element groups

Check Radioss reference guide for more details. In 2019 HM iform option was added to /ACTIV card where you can activate and deactivate the elements.
