Can I optimize the moment of inertia of geometry by using topology Optimization?

 

if it can, what kinds of loadstep  or load Collector need?

    Hi

    loadstep and loadcol depend on your structure. I think you will need to set a response type 'inertia'

    When I just want to optimize geometry, I don't know how can I set up loadstep or loadcol... (There are no load or distortion..)

    did you try running it without load?

    I think just constraint is neccessary

    Hi @G. U. Jang

     

    You can use inertia relief with IREL= -2 to automatically provide constraints (if you are not sure about the constraints) and use the same for optimization.
