Hello,
I am looking for a shock wave tutorial to get familiar with the methodology. Preferably with air as the fluid. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have searched the website and am just failing to find something.
Best,
Rebecca
Please have a look at the Radioss tutorial RD-E: 1900 Wave Propagation in Help section, if it helps.
Thankyou
Firstly, I thank you for your response, but I do now realize I posed my question incompletely. Though your suggestion would surely be helpful, I was wondering if there is any tutorial or other information that would more closely resemble shock waves in air at supersonic/hyper sonic speeds such as through a ramjet. I understand this is very specific so possibly the information you gave me is as close as Iit gets, but I figured I would check before diving in. Thanks!

Please have a look at this one too, if it helps
RD-E: 1300 Shock Tube
If i find something more specific to supersonic/hyper sonic speeds i will share them.
Please also have a look at help section for 'Shock Wave' for more information
