Situation is strange in optistruct
When I was applied the pretension in the bolt.
I saw the von-Mises (corner Data)in the result.
But the situation is strange because I have seen the other software.
The result at opitstruct is not distribute average.
Where is my error?
And my stress will over my applied pretension force ( I change the force to stress)
I applied the stress is 212 MPa but my result is 359.6 MPa

Since the information is limited it is hard to comment.
is it possible to share both model files (OptiStruct and Other SOFTWARE)?

@Prakash Pagadala Thanks to your reply.
Because another file I just saw it situation so I don't have the file. Sorry.
I want to ask you about how to see the element's von-Mises because I just can see the Nodal stress in HyperView.
Ho do I see the element stress? Because I want to compare to my applied stress to know the stress value is right or not.

@Prakash Pagadala Thanks to your apply!
I have use the Query panel to pick elements and how do I show the element stress.
Really thanks you!

Hi @LKZ
You should see Contour Element Stress as shown in the image. Select that and select the elements.

@Prakash Pagadala I have found that I will have the option
But it need the Averaging method choose none, it can show the option.
Why it can't measure the stress in Averaging method : simple?

Hi LKZ,
You need to uncheck corner data to get the values in query panel.

@Prakash Pagadala Thanks to your reply!
I have uncheck the corner data and my averaging method is simple.
But I still not have the option of element stress.
My Hyperwork is 2017.2 and I upload my h3d file.

I think I misunderstood your question. You can get the element contour with None and corner data unchecked.
With simple, you can get the nodal stress results projected from the element.

So the simple method is from each element corners tensor and averaged?
And when we choose the none, the calculated method can see the element stress because it doesn't average to the corner.

How HV averages can be found from HyperView help.
Please refer to Nodal Averaging of Elemental Results on HyperView help.
