What actually are negative eigenvalues?

Hi, I have been doing a lot of analyses and a lot of time I encounter the error that says the model has 1, 2, etc negative eigenvalues.

Can some explain what this means?

What should I expect it went wrong in the analysis?

Negative eigen values could be due to modelling errors. Could you please check if there are any modelling issues?
