Hello experts,

I have a questions about the value of FSI data in OptiStruct.

In Hypermesh, i can input the value from 1 to 5 for this entry in FSI card.

However, in OS help session, they only mentioned about value 1 2 & 3 for this entry.

So what is he meaning of 4 & 5 in this entry?

Thanks in advance!

According to the most recent documentation for OptiStruct, there are three flags.

-Use 1 or 2 for Structural Nonlinear Transient Fluid-Structure Interaction with AcuSolve.

-Use 3 for Linear Transient Heat Transfer Fluid-Structure Interaction with AcuSolve.

Values 4 and 5 appear to be reserved for future use, so don't have functionality right now.  You may see an OptiStruct error if you run with that value.

    Thanks,
