Negative Area: Delete Connection Solid Element

Hi all,

 

towards the end of my simulation I'm always getting multiple errors regarding a negative area in some elements.

     NEGATIVE AREA: DELETE CONNECTION SOLID ELEMENT  100021614
     NEGATIVE AREA: DELETE CONNECTION SOLID ELEMENT  100017264
156200  0.1231      0.9419E-07 NODE   100000250 -82.0%   5595.       6736.       0.000      0.6838E+05   0.000

 

What does this mean and how can I avoid this error? I'm attaching my .out files.

    Hi,

    It is likely a connection element that is getting very compressed in your model.

    You can check the behavior of these elements in the model.
