Elements in type 7 interface

Hi Experts,

 

I have a question regarding type 7 interface . My question is will the type 7 interface should have only 2D shells and solid elements or I can house any other type of elements as well for instance spot welds of the parts in connection with type 7 interface as well. For spot welds I created a type 2 interface separately.Pl give your inputs on the topic.

Hi Raghav,

I don't think its possible to house any other type of elements other than shell and solid elements for Type 7 interface.
