Hi,

How do i make Optistruct generate .eslout file for a MBD analysis? I am unable to find that file in the directory where all the files for example .hgdata. .h3d etc. are generated.

Thank you. Your help is appreciated.

    Hi @Pran

    .eslout contains brief and useful information about the optimization process.

    Please refer to ESLM for MBD for more information.

    Hi @Prakash Pagadala

    Thank you for the information. However, I would like to know how to make Optistruct generate a .eslout file as i need o submit that file for a project. In the file directory where other files are generated such as .out, .h3d, .hgdata etc. I should be obtaining a .eslout file automatically, but i am not. Is there any way, or any kind of settings through which I can obtain that file?

    Thank you.

    Hi @Pran

    Does your model include optimization parameters for dynamic load cases?

    Yeah it is a MBD type of analysis.

    @Pran

    MBD analysis type with optimization should provide a .eslout during run.

    Can you share the model file with us?

    Please use the file transfer link in my signature to share the model file

    @Pran

    You have a MBD analysis type but there are no optimization parameters. That is why no .eslout is generated for your model.
