Help regarding composite shuffling optimization
I'm performing shuffling optimization, on the results i got from sizing optimization and was hoping to know if there is a way to control successive ply drops in shuffling optimization. We can control the total drop during sizing and then the successive same-angle plies in the stack during shuffling but we don’t see a way to prevent all the ply drops from occurring in the same location in the stack (successive ply drops), thus creating a large resin pocket, during shuffling optimization ?

There is no option available to include a drop-off constraint on DSHUFFLE card during shuffling optimization. I will create an RFE for the same.
For time being, you can try this, after shuffling optimization, carry another size optimization without changing anything but include drop-off constraint.
Let us know if you have achieved the expected results with this workaround.
