contact definition

dear all,

 

i have defined S2S contact with static coefficient of friction 0.1.

roller edge is penetrating inner ring edge.

 

how can i resolve this issue.

    Hi 

     

    Can you try with STIFF on PCONT?

    This may help remove penetration but it may structure stiffer if you provide very high value.

    Start with a value of say -100 and check the results.

    Can you try with PCONT and use STIFF and Mu1 to provide static friction and check if that helps?
