Hi everyone
I have a question that I can not solve.
A spherical metal ball of radius R is placed in an infinitely large volume of motionless fluid. The ball is maintained at a temperature of TR, while the temperature of the fluid far from the ball is T∞ (The boundary condition for the fluid far from the ball; R=∞ → T=T∞ ).
a)Find an expression for the temperature distrubution within the fluid.
b) Find an expression for the rate of heat transferred to the fluid.
c) Show that Nusselt number is equal to 2.
d)Calculate the heat flux at the surface of the sphere for the following values: R=2 cm, k=0.025 W/mK, TR=60°C, T∞=25°C
