Hi,

I'm trying to run 1 dimensional analysis using hypermesh on a race car chassis and my analysis was running fine until i updated my model and added in some extra suspension members. When i did this i keep getting an error #1000. I've tried rebuilding the model from scratch but it continues to give me this error:

*** See next message about line 3278 from file:
     C:/Users/User/Desktop/Formula/FEA/18-05/18-05 W SUS.fem
  'RBE2        3179    2957       0    3186'

 *** ERROR # 1000 *** in the input data:
Incorrect data in field # 4.

I've tried checking that everything comes to a node and that everything has a property assigned and i can't figure out what else to do to try and fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi @rentablewax

Make sure you check the Dofs while creating RBEs

I am using a 3d sketch and the line mesh tool to create the mesh. I dont see any options for dof

Hi @rentablewax Error message points to RBE2 elements not bar elements. Please check the same.
