Hello friends,

I am going through very silly Problem in HyperWorks Optistruct, I want to design 3d element with nodes....

I gone through Nodes>Geo> defined 4 NODES;

then also define plane from 2d trimmed select all nodes and make mesh Keep surf. it gives me 2d surface. Now I have to extrude my 2d element.... How can I do it?

Please help me.

Thank you,

Regards,

Jay

    Hi Jay,

    You can use Element Drag in 2D page to drag the element and make solid.

    Select the elements and select any 4 nodes on the plane, enter the drag distance and number of elements on drag and click Drag+

    Hello Prakash,

    I would like to make two different geometry and want to attached them... for that I have make two different geometry separately and first end nodes of my geomtery I have make another nodes and extrude directly.. Then I have apply Heat Transfer Boundary and Convection steps.. But I got error Like this

    My second Question on Tool>Equations and to define MPC; Connection nodes from two different node have same temp. Two different node's material also diffrent. what is exact use of MPC here?

    Thank you..

    Jay,

    Looks like there are 2D QUAD elements in your model. Delete the QUAD elements and check again.

    MPCs are multi point constraints. In short user defined rigids.
