Dear Prakash,
we manufacture our cylindrical component (tube) by forming process.
After all stages of forming we are having 20-30 microns of ovality (accepted band).
When we are doing heat treatment on the same, we are getting ovality in high amount.
So the concern is, can we simulate this phenomenon using FEA?
We are interested in capturing distortion due to HT cycle and optimize the same.
