create a Rigitwall Linear static analysis

Hello @ all,

 

i need to create a Wall in a model, which only blocks the translation in negative x direction and allows to translate in positive x direction. 

I read, that this is possible by using Gap elements including PGAP property. The only problem is, that i have to lock 659 nodes an thats too much to constrain node after node.

so i need a possibility to realize such a constrain without doing this for each single node.

    could you try using 1D>linear 1d

    switch elem type

    Christian,

     

    Can you select nodes by collector(component) or nodes by planes or hide all components except GAP elements and select GAP nodes?
