Stress intensity factor

Hello everyone,

 

I want to calculate the SIF for a through crack in a 3D geometry (say, for example a CT specimen) using RADIOSS as a solver. Are there any specific cards available for this using HyperMesh?

If not, then it has to be calculated using the derived results by expression builder in HyperView. Regarding this, can someone please shed light on the valid expressions and output variables to be used??

I am using HyperWorks 13.0.

    Hi,

    As of now I don’t think there it is possible to calculate the stress intensity factor in RADIOSS.

    But I'll check regarding the same and will update if  I get any more information on the same.
