How to fastening my simulation?

Hello together,

 

i want to speed up my simulation.

 

My Modell has 3,5 Million tetra Elements and i need to do a topology optimization.

MEMORY ESTIMATION INFORMATION :

                  Direct Method
 
 Current Memory (RAM)                                    :   12455 MB
 Estimated Minimum Memory (RAM) for Out of Core Solution :   35347 MB
 Recommended Memory (RAM) for Out of Core Solution       :   39796 MB
 Recommended Memory (RAM) for In-Core Solution           :  416175 MB
 
DISK SPACE ESTIMATION INFORMATION :
-----------------------------------

 Estimated Disk Space for Output Data Files              :    1544 MB
 Estimated Scratch Disk Space for In-Core Solution       :   18264 MB
 Estimated Scratch Disk Space for Out of Core Solution   :  536926 MB

 

What core memory option should i use? in, out, min, len

 

What multiprocessor mode? smp, ddm2, ddm4

    Hi @Denis

     

    You can increase the RAM usage. Please go through the Run options in OptiStruct help to understand what options are available to increase the RAM usage.
