Composite application to solid tubes

Hi,

I am trying to apply a composite (carbon fiber) to a solid model mainly consisting of tubes . The tube thickness is 5mm . Can someone please guide me as to how I should go about this?

Instead mesh the tube with shell elements and use MAT8 card to provide material details with PCOMPP/PCOMP(G)
