INTERNAL PROGRAMMING ERROR #8008 in Displacement Optimization

Hello,

 

I run into a problem when I want to do a displacement optimization of a composite plate.

 

The error reads as:

 

*** INTERNAL PROGRAMMING ERROR # 8008 ***

CHECK detects overwriting of data block: xmdtpl

* DATAMANAGER ERROR in subroute 'datamx'.

 

I have tried several things I have seen on other topics to solve this problem, but the problem persists.

 

If anyone can help me understand the cause of this problem, and how I may solve it, I would greatly appreciate it!!

Can you update the solver to the latest and check if that helps.

I'm sorry I couldn't understand what you meant by updating the solver. Do you mean that I should update the Optistruct to a higher version? In that case, I'm already using 2017.2.

Please update to 2017.2.4 and check if that helps. If not I may need more information from you.
