Volume Intersection

Hello,

I am currently learning hypermesh.  I am trying to mesh an assembly consisting of four parts (same), modelled via Catia. In Catia, I have ensured that there is no intersection between parts in the assembly (Fig 2).  When imported, hypermesh approximates the geometry leading to intersection between parts.  So, on meshing , some elements cut each other.

I have tried Autocleanup for the geometry without success. How do I ensure that the parts do not intersect?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Did you import *.CatPart file or IGES/STEP file?

I have tried both. Thanks for your reply. The one in the figure is CatPart
