I have read the help from the averaging method about simple and advanced

At here I can't completely know  the difference between them.

I know the simple's von-Mises is use the four elements corner value to do the average.

But what is different about the advanced ?

Here I think they all use the elements corner value to do the average, but it just can change the coordinate.

And what is the abbreviation about the RC?

    Hi LKZ

    Simple: calculate vonmisses and then do averaging

    Advanced: transform tensors to same system then do averaging them, after that => calculate vonmisses

    @tinh Thanks to your reply!

    I arrange my idea like that

    simple : just use the von-Mises to average at the node.

    advanced : first we set the von-Mises at the same coordinate system llke : global coordinate, then it do the average.

    Because I don't have define any new coordinate, the simple and advanced averaging method should be the same coordinate (global system).

    Why at the result my simple and advanced have different.

    hv will assume a system that you don't need to know.
