topology optimization with different tension and compression stress limits
Hello
I would like to perform a topology optimization of a material with different compression and tension stress limits.
The ratio of the limits is about 2-3.
It is not necessary to constraint exact values of the stresses.
Important is to consider the stress limit ratio. Then the standard procedure with minimize compliance and constrain volume would be ok.
Is there a good possibility how to set up such an optimization for optistruct?

When you want σ1 < 90 and σ3>-60MPa, you can just use two DCONSTRs.
When you wants minimize σ1 and |σ3| like as σ1=90, σ3=-70 --> σ1=90, σ3=-50 --> σ1=80, σ3=-50 --> σ1=80, σ3=-40 --> --> -->, you can use DOBJREF with different scales and solve minmax problem.
