I am trying to run a drop analysis using Hypermesh with the Radioss solver (version 2026) and I am struggling to tie together the interface shown. If I use TYPE2 connectors, I get the error that the master surface is in multiple groups. I have tried the line batch tool (set to rigid link) that graphically shows me what I want when it has all been realised but I get a similar error that rigid connections cannot share a node. The automatic fix in the model merges the rigids connected to the same node into a a single connector with a central master node. This would be perfect but it looks like it deletes 99% of the connections I need and replaces them with about 10 dotted around the assembly that would not be adequate for the drop test. Is there a way to configure the line tool to create the multi-leg rigid connectors in the first place so I am not relying on the automatic fix? I have also thought about extending the mesh and merging the nodes but I think that would give me issues in the run because of all the penetrations it would cause when calculating the shell thickness.
