License Error on EDEM

Hello,

I am using Altair EDEM 2026.1 through the Altair Student Edition on Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS.

EDEM was working previously with this same Student Edition license, but it has stopped checking out the EDEMGUI feature.

EDEM reports: License Error -29: Requested CT/TTF license not found for given customer ID

I checked the local license store. The activated .lic file exists, but it contains only:
HyperViewTrans
HyperWorksEDU
romAI

There is no EDEMGUI feature in the license file.

Reactivating the same activation key reports: License already exists in license store

HyperWorksEDU is the feature that activates all products including EDEM. No other feature is necessary for the student edition.

Please ensure your analysis is not exceeding these EDEM Limitations 

• 10,000 particle limit 
• 2 x CPU max (no GPU) 
• Disabled functionality on CFD Coupling Interface, MBD coupling interface, Heat Transfer Module, and Field Data Import.
