Split Hopkinson's Pressure Bar Analysis

I want to perform analysis of Split Hopkinsons pressure bar(SHPB) for my thesis but dont have any idea about which load-step to use.
If anyone could help me on this topic that would be highly obliged.

We have an example available on Help about Hopkinson Bar, RD-E: 0800 Hopkinson Bar. 

Download the  and check Example 8. The model file for the same is attached along. Please go through the same so that you will get a fair idea on the model setup for this analysis.
