Question regarding the Compliance

I have a minor question about the (weighted) compliance given in the .out file for each iteration of the optimization.

I ran the same modell with two different materials. One was Aluminium which i gave E= 70000 and nu=0.3 and a plastic Material with 3700 and nu=3.8.

From my understanding the compliance of the plastic is supposed to be higher than the one from Aluminium. Unfortunately this isn´t the case when i look at the .out file.

Here the Plastic has an compliance which is 10x higher than the one from aluminum. Can someone please explain why this would occur?

I most probably made a mistake thinking about everything and therefore i am seeking for help.

Thanks in advance

    Hi @Selto

Compliance is directly proportional to applied U and Stiffness and what you see is expected.
