ERROR 3423

Hallo everybody,

I am trying to launch a topology optimization analysis with Hypermesh but I get this error message:

"ERROR # 3423

MUMPS solver encountered error with code -72

Please contact support and provide .out and .stat files"

I run the static analysis for the same model (with the exception of the optimisation definitions) and it was succesfull.

Does anybody knwo about this error or how to fix it.

Hello, probably the solver ran out of disk space or RAM.

Please, ensure your "scratch" drive has plenty of free space (optimization files are much larger than static ones). And look at the .out file's "Memory Estimation" section to see if the model exceeds your physical RAM.
