I am writing to request your official technical support for issues encountered in my Fluent-EDEM coupled simulation. My model contains 100,000 particles and 970,000 fluid mesh cells. After 15 hours of computation, only 0.0004 seconds of physical time has been advanced, with the Fluent time step set to 5e-5 s and the EDEM time step set to 5e-7 s. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to accelerate the calculation speed of the coupled simulation; detailed parameter configurations are provided in the attached Word document for your review. In addition, I would also like to inquire where to configure the coupling data exchange interval, i.e. the number of steps between each round of data transfer between EDEM and Fluent.
