FRF topology optimization

I am working on 2 load cases both are FRF anaylsis(displacement vs freq) in the same model .I have already run a voxel analysis .i wanted run topology optimization on 2 design space (which are voxel filled ) such that they have lower displacement at particular freq. I have topoloyg optimization with

*Response:

1)volfrac- 2 design space

2)freq- displacement - 2 nodes - 3 dof - all freq

*Objective : Minmax - Dobjref - freq-displacement response - all loadcase

*Constraint : Volfrac - 0.6(lower bound) -0.8(upper bound)

*Control : DOPTPRM DESMAX 30 MINDENS 0.1 TOPDISC YES

My Topology optimization isnt discreate its running for 4 iteration and no significant reduction in mass .

if any other topology optimization technique needs to be implied please let me know
i am also currently trying minimize volumne , freq-displacement - constraint

Hi akshatay,

You can try minimizing compliance in one run.

Another suggestion is to give displacement constraint with the target values you want to achieve.
