HyperWorks 2026 Student Edition – Error 67: License activation cannot be verified / Feature not foun

I am using Altair HyperWorks 2026 Student Edition on Windows 11.

The software was working previously, but now it fails to start due to licensing errors.

I have already tried:

• Deleting the .altair_licensing folder.
• Restarting the PC.
• Running the Altair License Utility as Administrator.
• Activating the license again.
• Confirmed that I have an active internet connection.

However, the problem persists.

The License Utility also shows:

"License already exists in license store."

The log contains the following errors:

Feature(s): GlobalZoneAP, HyperWorks, HWLauncher
Error Code: 9
Feature not found

Feature: HyperworksEDU
Error Code: 67
License activation cannot be verified, please check your internet connection and try again.

There is also:

System Error: No Auth Token in Managed Licensing config

Could you please check if my Student Edition license activation needs to be reset/deactivated on the Altair server so that I can activate it again?

If you need my Host ID or Activation Key, I can provide them privately.

@Omen The message license already exists in license store means the activation is already successful

You could go to the location of the license in the license store, this is the path in the activation tab under the license store field, delete the .lic file there and then reactivate.
