an issue activating my PSIM Student Edition license

Hi Altair Support Team,

I am having an issue activating my PSIM Student Edition license.

PSIM 2026.1 was installed from the Student Edition Bundle.

Activation succeeded.

Managed Licensing reports "You are authorized to use managed licensing."

The .lic file exists and ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH is correctly configured.

However, License Usage is empty and PSIM Active Features is empty.

Could you verify that the PSIM feature is assigned to my Student license?

Your account is already verified for student edition use.

If you want to disconnect from the managed licensing and use the student edition license, set an environment variable with name ALM_HHWU and value F. You can set it to T to use just the managed licensing.

Once done please use either just the free student edition license or the managed licensing activation methods.
