Hypermesh 2024.1 freezes during .fem export

Question

Description: Hello I have an issue with Hypermesh 2024.1. The software freezes when exporting .fem model. The issue is linked to exporting NSML, although I believe I have it defined properly. If I set NSML as non-export, the export goes through. Do you know what could be the issue?

Nevermind, found myself a solution.

For anybody else facing the same issue. The key is not to directly assign elements to the NSML1, but rather create an element set first and assign this set to the NSML1. There is no issue with the export then.

BTW, HM2026 and HM2022 don't have this issue, only 2024.1

You might also want to try a more recent version of Hypermesh.
