Does anyone have the file for Rear SLA Susp with Push rod (FSAE)

Question

Hey, I'm an FSAE student and was simmulating our current suspensions which are double wishbone pushrod to dampers (Both front and rear),

When I used the data provided from BAJA and SAE libraries,

I am being able to simulate the Front SLA Susp with push rod, but as I model the rear susp I am only being able to simulate using a pull rod setup.

and if i uses push rod Coordinates and then simulate it would give inaccurate results

Hello @Anjieee,

if you had made all proper changes, it should. In general templates are there to begin with a model that has pretty much all the entities that you'll need. It's up to you to update it according to your design. I cannot judge by the image if all the connection are properly resolved. You can run a KnC and validate it the design by SDF (suspension design factors). As for the geometry/kinematics you can check camber, toe etc will for the pushrod specifically you can check the spring rate.

This is the geometry obtained after changing the hardpoints and all the necessary relevant joints. The model looks exactly as the Push type suspension we have, so now my doubt is that if i simulate this geometry model which was ideally a Pull type Suspension(in FSAE Library files) will i get accurate results of the simulation
