       In optistruct how to assign the rigid body property to 2d shell element.

Rigid elements (RBE2) function as rigid bodies; therefore they are also known as rigid bodies or constraint elements.

 

MATX13 defines rigid material for geometric nonlinear analysis:

• The material identification number must be that of an existing MAT1 Bulk Data Entry. Only one MATXi material extension can be associated with a particular MAT1.
• MATX13 is only applied in geometric nonlinear analysis subcases which are defined by ANALYSIS=EXPDYN. It is ignored for all other subcases.
