S-Frame Variable Area Load

I'm trying to apply a variable area load to an S-Frame model, however it continues to apply as a uniform area load. Does anyone have experience successfully applying a variable area load? I'm designing for a weir holding back a fluid where the pressure will vary as a function of depth.
