Hello,
I am using Altair Student Edition with SimLab/HyperMesh 2025. When I run Motor NVH Force Computation from the SimLab/HyperMesh GUI, Flux is launched in the background, but the process fails.

My SimLab installation seems complete. The solver folders exist under:
C:\ProgramFiles\Altair\2025\SimLab\bin\win64\solvers
including Flux and Optistruct.
SimLab itself runs with my Student Edition license. The license log shows:
Checked out HyperWorksEDU (local)
but Flux2DSolver, HWFlux2DSolver, and GlobalZoneAP fail to check out.
My questions are:
- Is SimLab/HyperMesh → Flux2D Force Computation supported with Student Edition?
- Is FluxExport.fem supposed to be generated automatically?
- Could the missing FluxExport.fem be caused by the Flux2DSolver license checkout failure?
- If this workflow is not supported, should I export force data directly from Flux instead?
Thank you.
