Good day,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am trying to get started with EDEMAPI using the tutorials on the website. However, I discovered that some of the tutorial are not working. Also, some of the codes are different what is in the tutorial videos on YouTube.

Does anyone have an explanation to this.

Hi, what kind of issues were you having with the tutorials? They typically use different versions of the API depending on when the tutorial was created, however they should all work with the version of the API shown in the tutorial which is supported in the latest EDEM version.

For the Cohesion tutorial. I followed exactly what was done in the webinar below,

The code was successfully compiled into a DLL. However, in EDEM, it did not appear as a plugin model rather than as an additional model. When the simulation was run, there was no visible cohesion between the particles. Additionally, I noticed that the instructor in the webinar video uses four header files, whereas the ZIP folder downloaded from Altair contains only three header file.

Also, the source code for CFieldQuery shown in the YouTube video is different from the one included in the ZIP folder for the field data tutorial.
