Suspension Travel lock

I tried adding a bump stop to hard-stop the suspension travel. My suspension can travel up to 50 mm in jounce and 50 mm in

rebound. To simulate the same scenario, I set the jounce travel to 60 mm and checked whether the suspension stops at 50 mm. As a result, the suspension exceeded 50 mm, and the shock began to tilt backward to compensate for 60 mm of travel. I have attached the video file

Hi @premkumar_07,

The KnC event will force the jacks to move a set distance through a Motion constraint. With the vehicle body fixed in place, the jacks will provide any amount of force necessary to complete the 60mm of travel, regardless of your bumpstop settings. Visually you can't verify the bump stop activation using this KnC Ride event.

However, you can verify the bump stop activation in the KnC Ride event in the force output by the bump stop. Simply plot the amount of force generated by the bump stop, and you should see a sharp spike in the force after 50mm of travel.

Hi @premkumar_07 ,

It appears that you may not have enough stiffness and damping in your bushings. If you look at the LCA front and shock lower graphics, the outer housing of the bushing is not consistent with the bushing graphics. Are the bushing properties accurate for your vehicle, or are they default values? What about the shocks and bump stop properties, are they accurate?
