Failure of 3D plies of composite

Hi ! I'm doing a composite model, using the law12_3D_COMP in RADIOSS ans i'm trying to model its failure.

The impactor is a rigid ball and i have been following the example named : "Modeling of Hypervelocity Impact in Composite Laminates with Altair Radioss".

In my case, I don't want to use orthstrain for the failure but a stress equivalent like HASHIN, TSAI HILL, …

But, by using them no failure happens even if the stress limits are overpassed. Therefore the rigid ball continues it's way inside the laminate without breaking it causing large/ Non-logical strain deformation.

If anyone can help me ! i would be greatfull !
