Hi everyone,
I am currently working with SimLab 2026 and Flux 2026 for a 3D Electromagnetics simulation, and I have two questions regarding the data workflow and saving results.
1. Saving Solved Projects in SimLab:
What is the correct procedure to completely save a solved 3D project directly within SimLab 2026 so that the solution data is retained for future sessions?
2. Missing Results when Re-opening a .FLU file:
I am facing an issue with recovering my results after transitioning between SimLab and Flux. My workflow was as follows:
- I set up and ran my 3D EM simulation in SimLab.
- I used the View in Flux option to open the solver interface.
- I saved the project as a .FLU file directly from Flux.
Now, I want to reopen this .FLU file to analyze the results again. However, when I try to open it directly in Flux 2026, it prompts me to use the "Import" function in SimLab instead.
When I follow this instruction and import the .FLU file back into SimLab, only the model loads (geometry, mesh, and physics setup) all of my computed results are missing.
How can I properly reopen this .FLU file (or the SimLab database) so that my solved results are still accessible?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
