I would like to create 2d shell elements from a specific face of my current 3d model. Essentially, I want to create a disc of 2d elements that I can then imprint on the next part so I can map an identical mesh through the rest of the next part in order to attach the two parts afterward. Is there a function to be able to do that? Any suggestions would be helpful!
Or just any way to map a mesh onto a different part to then be able to attach by similar nodes.
The disc I want to be able to map in the first photo, and then the part to map the mesh through is in the second photo.
